The institution consists of 4 cells and 18 committees. These committees are established with the well-being of various stakeholders in consideration, aiming to ensure the seamless and efficient supervision of both academic and administrative operations on the campus.
Cells
This committee is very essential for the graduating undergraduate students, aspiring to get placed in companies as well as to start companies of their own. Career Guidance and Placement assistance are given to the students in their pre-final year and final semester respectively, preparing them for the forthcoming campus interviews.
Responsibilities:

The placement cell constantly works towards inviting more reputed companies for campus placement.

This committee is essential with respect to enhancing the academic activities of the college. The committee involving the Heads of all the Departments aims at filling curricular gaps between the institute and industry that meets the industry requirements and at the same time ensures teaching is done in a very effective way.

Student Grievance Redressal Committee
The objective of the Committee is to develop a responsive and accountable attitude among all the staff and students in order to maintain a harmonious educational atmosphere in the institute. Upholding the dignity of the College by ensuring strife free atmosphere in the College through promoting cordial relationship.
Responsibilities:

All the grievances of the staff and students which could not be settled in the routine process should be referred to this committee.

Committee reports the issues to the Principal.

Introduces a reasonable and reliable solution for grievances of various issues received from staff/Students.

Ensures that the grievances are resolved on time impartially and confidentially.

Equal Opportunity Cell of R.T.E Society’s Rural Engineering College Hulkoti ensures equity and equal opportunity to every stakeholder of this College including the disadvantageous groups like SC, ST, OBC (non-creamy layer), minorities, women and physically challenged students and staff.
The Cell has the following aims and objectives and functions.
Aims and Objectives To oversee the effective implementation of policies and programmes for disadvantaged groups, to provide guidance and counseling with respect to academic, financial, social and other matters and to enhance the diversity within the campus.
Responsibilities:

i. To ensure equity and equal opportunity to the community at large in the college and bring about social inclusion.

ii. To enhance the diversity among the students, teaching and non-teaching staff population and at the same time eliminate the perception of discrimination.

iii. To create a socially congenial atmosphere for academic interaction and for the growth of healthy interpersonal relationships among the students coming from various social backgrounds.

iv. To make efforts to sensitize the academic community regarding the problems associated with social exclusion as well as aspirations of the marginalized communities.

v. To help individuals or a group of students belonging to the disadvantaged section of society to contain the problems related to discrimination.

vi. To look into the grievances of the weaker section of society and suggest amicable solution to their problems.

vii. To disseminate the information related to schemes and programmes for the welfare of the socially weaker section as well as notifications/memoranda, office orders of the Government, or other related agencies/organizations issued from time to time.

Socio-economically Disadvantaged Group Cell (SEDGs)
SEDGs Cell to ensure opportunities for inclusive, equal and quality higher education to the SEDGs students. SEDGs Cell shall function as an independent body, without any hindrance or interference to the functioning and mandated activities of other Cells
Aims and Objectives
1. To protect all the constitutional rights of the SEDGs students.
2. To ensure that the HEIs are inclusive, safe, and secure for the SEDGs students.
3. To provide socio-emotional and academic support and mentoring for the students belonging to the SEDGs through proper counselling and monitoring programme.
4. To ensure proper implementation and monitoring of orientation and bridge courses designed by the HEIs to benefit SEDGs students.
5. To ensure implementation of all such programme designed and developed by HEIs to increase the participation of SEDGs students in academic activities.
6. To ensure implementation of Government’s policies, including reservation policies and various schemes, programme, facilities and guidelines for SEDGs students.
