About Library
The library boasts a spacious, well-ventilated facility housing a comprehensive collection of 41,500 volumes and 8,650 titles in Engineering Technology. This assortment includes textbooks, reference materials, reports, and more, regularly updated with new additions. Our subscriptions to over 19 databases, including IEEE, Elsevier, and Springer, provide access to a wealth of e-journals and e-books.
Spanning 600 square meters with seating for 100 students, the library offers an efficient learning environment. Using the Koha Integrated Library Management Software, our collection is seamlessly organized with barcoding for easy access.
Services offered include an Automated Circulation System, Online Public Access Catalogue, interlibrary loans, and recognition for top students. Our online catalog and e-resources are accessible on campus.

Remote Access Service
The Library has crafted a dedicated Remote Access Gateway to cater to the academic community of VTU Consortium, Belagavi. This gateway offers off-campus and round-the-clock access to the library's digital assets, fostering uninterrupted teaching, learning, and research endeavors. Harnessing secure cloud hosting, this service ensures that the academic community enjoys unfettered access to the library's digital repository across various devices.

Rules of Library

Books are loaned using an Identity Card.

A fine of Rs. 1.00 per book per day is charged for overdue returns.

Library cards are non-transferable; lending to others is a misuse.

Safeguard the Library card to avoid loss; report loss to Librarian promptly.

Duplicate Library cards may be issued by Librarian for Rs. 100/-.

Handbooks, References, Textbooks, etc., not lent; consult in the library.

Writing/damaging books is punishable; responsible for Library property damage.

Missing set volume means replacing the whole set or paying its cost.

Avoid marking or damaging book pages.

Loss of book requires replacement with the latest edition + overdue charges.

Unable to replace, pay double book price + Rs. 100/- processing fee.
