The Annual Social Gathering, Innova-2023, was celebrated with grandeur on March 28, 2023.
The event was graced by Shri Pramod Raichur, Site Director of NPCIL Kaiga and an alumnus from the 1986 batch in Chemical Engineering, who served as the Chief Guest. Dr. Basavaraj Bommanahalli, Director of Gadag Institute of Medical Science, Gadag, also joined as a special guest. Dr. V M Patil, Principal of REC Hulkoti, presented the annual report, and Shri Sachin D Patil, Secretary of RTE Society, Hulkoti, presided over the event.
The ceremony included the distribution of prizes for sports and cultural events, along with the presentation of appreciation certificates to the secretaries of various committees. The titles of Best Outgoing Students were conferred upon Miss Lekhana M Shivalli of Textile Technology and Mr. Uweze Ulla Khan of Automobile Engineering.
The event was skillfully hosted by Miss Soumya and Miss Shruti. The session was presided over by Dr. Suganda P, Head of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. Mr. Venkatesh Konraddi, General Secretary of the Student Union, extended gratitude through the proposal of the vote of thanks.
Subsequently, the program featured entertainment sessions with outstanding performances from both students and staff, encompassing a variety of talents such as singing, dancing, stand-up comedy, and solo presentations.
