The Rural Engineering College , commemorated the centenary birth anniversary of the late Shri K H Patil, a distinguished politician and former Minister for Co-operation in the Government of Karnataka. To mark this occasion, a Bhoomi Pooja for the Library and Classroom Annex building was conducted. The ceremony was led by Dr H K Patil, the Minister of Law, Parliamentary Affairs, and Legislation of Karnataka.
In attendance were Shri D R Patil, former Chairman of the RTE Society and ex-MLA of Gadag, along with Shri Sachin Patil, Secretary of the RTE Society, and members of the Board of Directors: Shri Deepak M Patil, Shri. Ranganagouda P. Patil, Shri Krishnagouda H Patil, and Shri. Prakashgouda H. Patil. The event was also attended by Dr V M Patil, the Principal, as well as the entire staff and student body.
