On the occasion of the 98th Birth Anniversary of Late Sri. K. H. Patilji, Founder Chairman of RTE Society, a blood donation camp was meticulously organized at the REC, Hulkoti campus on March 16, 2023.
The inauguration of the camp was led by Sri. Sachin D. Patil, Secretary, RTE Society, and Dr. Pawadshettar, Director, IMA, in the esteemed presence of Dr. V. M. Patil, Principal of REC Hulkoti, Dr. S. B. Patil from GIMS Gadag, Dr. Mallikarjun Pattanashetti from GIMS Gadag, and officials from blood banks.
Blood samples from more than 150 volunteers were collected and tested, with 65 eligible donors contributing blood. The beneficiary organizations for the donation were GIMS and IMA. The organizers extended their heartfelt gratitude to the donors and volunteers. Mr. Puneetgouda R. Patil, NSS Officer, expressed gratitude through the vote of thanks. All donors were honored with a 'Donor Appreciation Certificate.'
