In collaboration with Rural Engineering College Hulkoti, the Nehru Yuva Kendra, Gadag, under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, organized the "Career Guidance Programme-2023" on February 7, 2023, at the REC campus.
The inaugural session was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. Krishnagouda H Patil, a prominent Youth Leader. During his address, Mr. Patil provided valuable insights into career planning, fostering interpersonal relationships, emotional and financial management, and cultivating responsible social connections.
Dr. S. T. Vasan, Head of the Department of Science and Humanities, presided over the function. Ms. Ranjani N, District Youth Officer of NYKS, elaborated on the various activities undertaken by the Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan.
Subsequently, Mr. Praveen Deshpande, a skilled trainer from Hubli, served as the resource person for the session tailored for first-year students. The session encompassed comprehensive guidance on setting career goals, strategies for achievement, and the importance of discipline and commitment in student life.
