On the 5th of January 2024, the Rural Engineering College organized the Freshers Day event to extend a warm welcome to both first-year students and lateral entrants. The event featured Shri. Sachin Patil, Secretary of the R.T.E. society, Hulkoti, as the esteemed chief guest. Mr. Patil advised students to focus on skill development, utilize laboratory resources, and strive for success in their careers. Dr. V. M. Patil, the principal, presided over the event.
During his address, Dr. V M Patil emphasized the significance of studying core engineering subjects and acquiring knowledge to excel in their respective fields. The principal's motivational speech aimed to inspire all the freshmen to pursue excellence in their academic endeavors.
Moreover, Shri Manu Sudhan, CEO of ADVIGROPS, engaged in discussions with the freshman students, providing insights into the latest technological advancements. He also introduced innovative technologies currently implemented across various engineering departments.
The stage was graced by Dean Academics Shri Somanagoudar, IQAC Coordinator Shri M D Harlapur, and Science & Humanities Head of the Department Shri S S Sadamal. The event was skillfully anchored by Miss Aishwarya Goudar, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Shri Shrikrishna Gurlhosur. The collective efforts of these distinguished individuals contributed to a memorable and enriching Freshers Day event.
