With great enthusiasm, Rural Engineering College, Hulkoti, celebrated 'National Pollution Control Day.' The event was honored by the presence of Dr. Prakash M Munnolli, a former professor at SDMCET, Dharwad, who served as the resource person. Dr. Munnolli illuminated various facets of pollution and offered a comprehensive demonstration, using the Sukhana Lake Siltation in Chandigarh as an illustrative example.
The distinguished Principal, Dr. V M Patil, presided over the event and delivered an insightful discourse on pollution, encompassing its effects and control methods. Mr. Satish J, Head of the Department, Civil Engineering, delivered an introduction to the esteemed resource person.
The event was hosted by Mr. Jagadeesh M, a faculty member in Civil Engineering. The function was well-attended by both staff members and students.
