The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, in partnership with ICT Academy, organized a comprehensive five-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on AWS Cloud Practitioner from March 4 to March 8, 2024. This program aimed to enhance the cloud computing skills of faculty members, equipping them with the knowledge necessary to integrate AWS cloud technologies into their teaching and research.


The FDP covered a wide range of topics, including the fundamentals of AWS Cloud, its core services, security aspects, and best practices for cloud deployment and management. Expert trainers from ICT Academy delivered in-depth lectures and conducted hands-on labs, providing participants with practical experience in working with AWS cloud services.


Throughout the program, faculty members engaged in interactive sessions, collaborative projects, and real-world case studies, enabling them to gain a thorough understanding of AWS Cloud. This initiative aimed to empower educators to effectively teach cloud computing concepts to their students and apply these technologies in academic and research projects.


The successful completion of the FDP was marked by participants receiving certification as AWS Cloud Practitioners, reflecting their newly acquired expertise. This program not only enhanced the professional development of the faculty but also contributed to the advancement of cloud computing education within the institution.
