COMMITTEES AND CELLS
There are 4 cells and 18 committees in the institution. These committees are formed by keeping in mind the welfare of all types of stakeholders and for the smooth and effective monitoring of academic and administrative setup in the campus.
This committee is very essential for the graduating undergraduate students, aspiring to get placed in companies as well as to start companies of their own. Career Guidance and Placement assistance are given to the students in their pre-final year and final semester respectively, preparing them for the forthcoming campus interviews.
Responsibilities:
- Placement cell constantly works towards inviting more reputed companies for campus placement.
- Find ways and means to improve Industry –Institute Interactions.
- Career guidance training will be given to the students.

To develop systematic Quality processes in the college for evolving, enhancing and sustaining excellence in its academic and administrative practices and to set benchmarks for their periodic evaluation.
Mission

FUNCTIONS OF THE IQAC
- Development and application of quality benchmarks/parameters for various academic and administrative activities of the institution
- Facilitating the creation of a learner-centric environment conducive to quality education and faculty maturation to adopt the required knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning process
- Arrangement for feedback response from students, parents and other stakeholders on quality-related institutional processes
- Dissemination of information on various quality parameters of higher education
- Organization of inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars on quality related themes and promotion of quality circles
- Documentation of the various programmes/activities leading to quality improvement
- Acting as a nodal agency of the Institution for coordinating quality-related activities, including adoption and dissemination of best practices.
- Development and maintenance of institutional database through MIS for the purpose of maintaining/enhancing the institutional quality.
- Development of Quality Culture in the institution.
- Preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per guidelines and parameters of NBA, to be submitted to NBA.

Functions
- To establish regular maintenance of the building and the equipment’s of the institute.
- The committee’s objective is to correspond with the people responsible for the maintenance and monitor the quality of work and given time schedule of the job.
- To monitor regular maintenance in the institute on daily basis.
- To monitor regular annual maintenance of the institute and related infrastructure.
- To monitor and plan major and minor repairs of lab equipment’s and office accessories.
Responsibilities
To estimate the quantum of annual maintenance every year and get approval of the same for execution of the work
- To plan staff for daily and routine maintenance and their work is monitored on daily basis through supervisors.
- For the issues related maintenance, a complaint register is kept at central hall in which complaint enters and the complaint is resolved on daily basis and its stock is taken daily.
- Those objections which don’t come under the preview of normal maintenance are reported through the committee to higher management by means of meeting every month to get budget allocated

This cell in the college is set up to look into the welfare of the SC/ST students admitted for various courses in the institute. The cell enables students to apply and obtain all eligible scholarship provided by Government and non government agencies and also by the management of the institution.

This committee is essential with respect to enhance the academic activities of the college. The committee involving the Heads of all the Departments aims at filling curricular gaps between the institute and industry that meets the industry requirements and at the same time ensures teaching is done in a very effective way.

This committee educates students on Discipline. In the event of any Indiscipline activity occurring, the committee conducts an enquiry and reports its findings to the Principal.

This committee monitors the conduction of examinations in the college. Starting from the notification of the exam till the declaration of the results, the committee manages all the activities in co-ordination with the heads of the departments ensuring smooth running of the entire process.

- To follow the circulars of the University related to the examinations.
- Ensure all students register for the university examinations.
- Conduction of University exams y identifying and allocating exam halls.

To examine and scrutinize the annual budget of the institute and submit financial proposals to the Board of Management. To consider all proposals for new expenditure and submit same to the Board of Management.
Responsibilities:
- To collect the departmental budgets and consolidate the institutional budget.
- After obtaining approval from the board of Management, communicating the approved budget to all core and functional departments.
- Funds for procurement of equipment and other necessary accessories.
- Disbursing of salaries and remuneration.

The objective of the Commitee is to develop a responsive and accountable attitude among all the staff and students in order to maintain a harmonious educational atmosphere in the institute. Upholding the dignity of the College by ensuring strife free atmosphere in the College through promoting cordial relationship.
Responsibilities:
- All the grievances of the staff and students which could not be settled in the routine process should be referred to this committee.
- Committee reports the issues to the Principal.
- Introduces a reasonable and reliable solution for grievances of various issues received from staff/Students.
- Ensures that the grievances are resolved on time impartially and confidentially.

Responsibilities:
- Receive the requirements of the books from all the departments and forwarding the same to the principal to purchase books.
- Preparation of Budget which includes procuring of books, journals and magazines.

The main objective of establishing the Purchase Committee (PC) is to look after the procurement of various equipments and systems that are required to be established in the laboratories in college. As the college is affiliated to VTU Belagavi and it is mandatory to establish all the labs prescribed in the curriculum, the role of PC becomes crucial in procuring the various equipment required to establish and maintain the laboratories.
Roles and Responsibilities of the Purchase Committee.
- Explore and capitalize on all legally permissible opportunities for cost reduction on purchase of materials.
- Ensure suppliers adhere strictly to brand or make and test specifications of those materials and equipment received meet specified quality standards and all stated performance criteria.
- Seek clarification from suppliers/service providers where necessary.
- To analyze quotations provided by the logistics department, and provide recommendation for approval.
- To ensure all documentation is accurately completed.
- The PC should also be assigned a role within the supplier pre-processing process.
- Establish and maintain good relations with suppliers.
- Implement buyer rotation plan.
