The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, in partnership with ICT Academy, organized a five-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on AWS Cloud Practitioner from March 4 to March 8, 2024. The program began with informative speeches by Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Dr. Sharanabasavaraj Angadi, highlighting the importance of cloud services in the current technological environment.
Dr. V. M. Patil, principal, emphasized the vital role that these FDPs play in connecting academia and industry, emphasizing the significance of industry-specific skills for students. Mr . Pavan C, the ICT Coordinator and ICT academy technical trainer Mr.Aditya jha shared the progress made by the ICT Academy in organizing FDPs and fostering industry-academia collaboration.
The FDP saw participation from faculty members representing various colleges affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi, reflecting the widespread interest in enhancing knowledge and skills in cloud computing.The program was skillfully anchored by all staff members of CSE student representatives Satvika, Varsha, Saniya, Laxmi, Nitin, Rasmi, among others, who ensured the smooth conduct of the inauguration ceremony.
