The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, together with Mechanical Engineering, arranged an Industrial Visit to NPCIL (Nuclear Power Corporation of India) Kaiga on the 17th February 2024 for third-year students, accompanied by faculty members. A total of 49 students, along with 4 faculty members, participated in the trip. Mr. Aldrin D’Souza, the technical engineer , Kaiga, provided an explanation of the model room and NTC simulator.
The students were able to comprehend that Engineering encompasses more than just learning, as they observed the interconnection between different units and the control mechanism governing the entire plant. It became evident that practical implementation of theoretical fundamentals plays a significant role in the field.
