Annual sports meet of the REC Hulkoti got underway with the hoisting of the flag by Dr V M Patil,Principal,REC,Hulkoti. The torch light was lit by the student secretaries.This was followed by the customary oath taking ceremony to abide by the rules for fair play and acceptance of decisions made.
Prof P B Dhotrad welcomed the dignitaries and student athletes. The Physical Director Sri Sajjanar spoke on the various track and field events and the necessary regulations. Mr Puneetgouda Patil anchored the event.
