The Rural Engineering College ,Hulkoti celebrated “National Pollution Control Day” with great enthusiasm. The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Prakash M Munnolli, a former professor at SDMCET, Dharwad, who served as the resource person for the occasion. Dr. Munnolli shed light on various aspects of pollution and provided a detailed demonstration using the example of the Sukhana Lake Siltation in Chandigarh.
Dr. V M Patil, the esteemed Principal, led the event as the president, where he delivered a comprehensive discourse on pollution, its effects, and the methods of control. Mr. Satish J, Head of the Department, Civil Engineering, provided an introduction about the resource person.
The event was hosted by Mr. Jagadeesh M, faculty, Civil Engineering. The function was attended by all staff members and students.
